Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf has once again sparked controversy as footage of him causing a disturbance in a hotel lobby while in his underwear has surfaced.
On the 17th (local time), US entertainment media TMZ obtained and released a video showing LaBeouf causing a scene in a hotel lobby in Italy.
In the video, LaBeouf is seen walking around the lobby in only his underwear, asking people for a lighter while smoking a cigarette and using profanity. Some hotel guests reportedly felt uncomfortable and moved away from the sudden outburst.
LaBeouf was in Italy to attend his father's baptism, but due to a prior arrest for assault, he had to obtain court approval before leaving the country.
Previously, LaBeouf was arrested last month in New Orleans during the Mardi Gras festival for assaulting two employees at a bar. Witnesses reported that he repeatedly attacked the staff who asked him to leave and even scratched another man's face who tried to intervene.
After attending court and posting a $100,000 bail, LaBeouf was released, but he was arrested again on additional assault charges by the police.
In an interview, LaBeouf admitted that his actions could be controversial but claimed they stemmed from fear.
LaBeouf gained worldwide fame through the Transformers film series but has been involved in various controversies such as assault and disturbances in the past.
