BMW Group Korea announced on the 14th that their lineup of pure electric vehicles has received high praise in the revised government subsidy system for electric cars, resulting in many models being eligible for significant purchase subsidies.
The BMW 'The New iX3' received the maximum score in performance subsidies and charging speed, qualifying for a government subsidy of 2.75 million won, while key models such as the i4 and i5 also scored at the highest level.
Under the MINI brand, the 'The All-Electric MINI Ace Man E' is eligible for the highest subsidy of 4 million won in the imported premium electric car category, while the 'MINI Cooper SE' will receive 3.96 million won in support.
BMW Group Korea highlighted their efforts to enhance safety, including the installation of 3,030 charging stations nationwide, training 480 specialized maintenance personnel, and participating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's battery anomaly detection pilot project.
