Targetwell Life, which is driving the establishment of a digital healthcare platform, directly visited the HIMSS 2026 conference and exhibition in the United States. In preparation for expanding its business into the digital healthcare platform field beyond food, the company sought to increase interactions with domestic and international medical IT experts.

On the 9th (local time), Seo Hoon-gyo, the CEO of Targetwell Life, and key executives visited a pre-conference held a day before the official opening of HIMSS 2026.

It is unusual for a domestic food company to directly visit HIMSS for healthcare business. Targetwell Life, a leading company in the domestic patient food (care food) and health functional food markets, has been transitioning to a digital healthcare platform company in recent years.

Seo Hoon-gyo, who met on-site, stated, "I visited HIMSS for the first time to understand the global medical IT market and network with experts," and said, "The long-term goal is to grow the platform 'MyTHS' not only for specific disease management but also for family-based health management."

Targetwell Life won an innovation award at CES 2026 just a year after launching the chronic disease management platform 'DangPro 2.0'. They are now building the integrated healthcare platform 'MyTHS'.

MyTHS integrates and analyzes more than 20 health data to provide personalized health guides for individuals. Based on their self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm 'AI Tailor', Targetwell Life analyzes lifestyle data such as diet, exercise, and sleep. It also features the use of 3D human organ modeling to allow users to intuitively check their health status.

They are currently developing web and mobile versions with the goal of launching by the end of the year. They also plan to expand overseas after verification in Korea.

Targetwell Life has decided to connect offline medical and healthcare facilities such as hospitals, pharmacies, health screening centers, and fitness centers to MyTHS as a core strategy. They have designed a structure of 'seamless health management in daily life' where post-care is conducted on the platform after hospital treatment.

CEO Seo emphasized, "If medical data is connected to the platform in the long run, preventive health management services focusing on prevention rather than disease treatment will be possible once lifestyle data is combined."

This digital healthcare service model is already spreading in the United States. The U.S. institutionalized the ability for patients to share their electronic health information with external services through the '21st Century Cures Act' enacted in 2016. Based on this, an ecosystem is being formed that integrates hospital electronic medical record (EMR) systems and wearable platforms like Apple Health to manage hospital treatment records and wearable data on a single platform.

To strengthen its digital healthcare business, Targetwell Life acquired the AI statistics company Lexsoft in 2023 to secure a technological base. They plan to create a new business model by combining accumulated clinical research data centered on the existing balanced nutrition 'Newcare' with digital platforms.
